- fish wier stake with tip above channel bed and lower part passing through 10 cm of sand and gravel, and 90 cm of grey compact clay

- BdGu-6, Atherley Narrows: Four dates obtained by R.B. Johnston from the remains of fishweirs are in close agreement with one another, falling within the Archaic period. Subsequently work by Parks Canada archaeologists has produced a few more Archaic period dates along with a large number of late prehistoric and historic period dates from the fishweirs.
