- feature 27, a hearth remnant assigned to Occupation IV. Charcoal from Feature 27, a hearth remnant with scattered reddened and fire-cracked rocks. Along with several other of the same type of hearths, Feature 27 appears to have been assembled around the centralized concentration. The wide range in dates among this type of hearth indicates the absence of any cultural affiliation for this classification (i.e., hearth type).
