- Soil from Feature 18B, a large, oval-shaped shallow basin built into the floor of Structure 18. Feature 18B is described as a circular, flat-bottomed hearth The structure contained 6 internal basin features and 1 concentration of FCR. Floor of structure was undulating. Structure 18 meas. 5.5 x 3.5/4 m in dia. In plan view, Struc. 18 had 2 rooms--a shallow oval depression on the N end connected to a deeper, oval-shaped pit on the S end. Similar to the Early Archaic-age Yarmony pithouse. Several basin-shaped features had been excavated into the structure fill after abandonment of the structure.
