- Feature 9, a roughly circular charcoal stain with burned rock fill. Meas ca. 50 cm in dia. When excavated, it was found to be a shallow, basin-shaped, unlined hearth base that contained a small amt of burned rock and 1 quartzite flake. Base of feature was only 10 cm below the eroded ground surface. No oxidiation visible.
