- Feature 5, a firehearth. A soil stain ca. 55 cm in dia., which was observed in the center of the road. After excavation it was determined to be a roughly circular shaped unlined hearth with sloping sides. three flakes found around the hearth on what was probably the prehistoric surface--all indicate tool manufacture..
