- Context
- Sample is from Feature 3 fill. [I calculated the date in RCYBP by subtracting 490 from AD 1950.] The feature is 80 cm in dia., unburned, and 5-8 cm deep. It is basin shaped with fill of charcoal stained loam. In the center of the basin were 5 slabs positioned horizontally above ca. 2 cm of dark fill. All of the pollen was from noncultigens: Cleome, Opuntia, Artemisia, and Pinus edulis. One bone frag. was also found.
