Context
Charcoal originally provenienced with Stratum 19, but later interpreted as collapsed roofing material from Pit structure 1 (Stratum 22). Floor samples yielded Zea mays, sunflower, plus wild species Ceramics from these strata included Early Pueblo Gray, Chapin Gray, Chapin B/W, Painted White, and Polished White. These strata are above the aceramic strata and below strata assigned to the late Sagehen Phase (AD 800-850). Assigned to Element (occupation) 2.
