Context
Wood from top of Feature 1 hearth, the hearth visible on the surface. 3N/0E, 21-25 cm bmgs; Stratum A and B. Hearth was ca. 60 cm in dia. Filled with FCR, some of which were possibly GS artifacts. Hearth may be 2 superimposed hearths. Other dates range from 2320 +/- 90 to 4920 +/- 270--all from Feature 1 and from different strata. Assoc. artifacts were discovered betw 2 8 cm bmgs: 2 proj pts, FSTs, 2 GS tools, 33 pieces of debitage, and hematite. Points appear to be Desert S/N and Rose Spring.
