- Comments
- GhPh-106, Calling Lake: The site is situated on a low sandy ridge about 100 m from the present lake shore, on the south edge of a low area that appears to be a former cove or inlet of the lake. It is a stratified campsite, but cultural affiliations are undetermined. The recent age of GSC-1140 is quite unexpected as the stratigraphic situation suggests an early postglacial dating for the gravelly zone and the overlying brown clayey silt zone. The sample may have consisted of an intrusive root. Other roots were observed at this level.
