- DlPb-2, Cranford: This is a multicomponent stone circle site consisting of 87 tipi rings, five cairns, a rock alignment, and both surficial and buried lithic concentrations. Various component represent McKean (including Hanna), Pelican Lake, Sandy Creek, Besant, Avonlea, and Old Women's phases. AECV-475C dates a Sandy Creek component in the upper portion of a silt and gravel stratum underlying ring 321; it is not clear whether this component is associated with a tipi ring, but no definite evidence for a buried ring was found. The other seven dates resulted from previous work by R. Balcom and are not mentioned by Stuart (1990).
