- Feature 10 roasting pit. A rock cluster on the surface, fairly dense scatter of small cobbles. Circular basin 85 cm in dia. Dug into underlying native sediment; 10 cm deep. Bottom lined with ca 90 cmall cobbles ranging from ca 4 to 10 x 20 cm in dia. Juniper and pine used to build fire on top of the bottom cobbles. Food probably roasted by placing other cobbles on top, with a layer of clay loam.
