- Bulk soil sample from Feature 3, a circular/oval-shaped concentration of burned cobbles and slabs and stained sediments. Found 12 cm bmgs. Meas 45 x 35 cm in dia., 10 cm deep. The 27 burned stones weighed 6.3 kg. Soil matrix was ashy. Rocks were arranged in an oval pattern around the margin of the feature with almost none in the central and E portions. The sample is from the central part. Macrobot analysis yielded pine and juniper. Directly overlies Feature 4. Date is thought to be Middle Archaic
