- Context
- Feature M1, found during monitoring of the site, within the construction right-of-way. Detected ca. 50 cm bmgs; a basin shaped pit 58 x 52 cm in dia., 11 cm remaining of the feature's depth. Fill was dense charcoal chunks; 6 small tabular stones partially lined the sides and bottom. These stones and soil at bottom of pit were oxidized. Interpreted as a small roasting pit or pit for heating.
