- Feature 1000, a roasting pit discovered during monitoring prior to topsoil removal. Meas ca. 77 x 101 cm, extending 20 cm below the ground surface. Two strata: Stratum I (upper) brown/black loam, can 8 cm thick. Stratum II, a black silty clay loam. 76 pieces of FCR recovered from the feature, along with charred sagebrush and pinyon, 6 tiny pieces of chert debitage.
