- Feature 1001, a poorly defined ash dump, ca. 85 cm in dia; directly assoc. with Feature 100, which lay ca. 20 cm to the SE. Fill of Feature 1001 was loose, ashy gray sediment, extending ca. 13 cm below its point of detection. Fill contained charred pine and juniper, 242 pieces of bone, only 6 of which were large enough to identify. All 6 were long bone frags, burned or calcined, as were many of the small frags. Also found: 49 peices of debitage, 1 core, 1 expedient tool.
