- Feature 10, a small hearth 12 cm bmgs, situated ca. 60 cm behind the drip line. Ovoid, basin shaped, 29 x 38 cm, 10 cm deep. Fill was dark loam with charcoal flecks and fragments. No oxidation, but heavy charcoal staining was present. Two FCRs weighing 0.2 kg were in the fill. Fill also produced a few charred goosefoot seeds, juniper wood charcoal, 77 burned small mammal bone frags., and 33 flakes. Interpreted as a hearth. Associated with Component 4.
