- Feature 14, hearth, Component 5, S edge of Block 1, assoc. with Structure 1. C14 sample was bulk soil. Originated below a layer of duff, meas. 60 cm in dia., 6 cm thick, thought to represent a single burning episode. Unstratified fill of dark brownish gray, ashy loam contained 29 small pieces of FCR weighing 1.5 kg; no charcoal. Fill contained 10 flakes, 1 burned mammal bone frag., 5 charred goosefoot seeds, 1 charred Cheno-Am seed embroyo, juniper and pine charcoal.
