- Feature 1, a shallow basin shaped hearth, 73 x 50 cm, 9 cm deep. Fill was dark and ashy sediments with 12 small FCRs. No oxidation rind present at its base. 39 pieces of debitage were found in the test unit around the feature (mainly locally available Brushy Basin chert and Burro Canyon orthoquartzite. One Zea mays cupule frag. was recovered from the feature.
