Context
Feature 1, a shallow pit found in an exploratory unit, appearing ca. 25 cm bmgs. It meas. 32 x 45 cm, 6 cm deep. Fill was dark grayish-brown silt with moderate charcoal flecking and the same high gravel content as the surrounding sediments. A remnant of an occupation surface was found ca. 2 m N of the feature.
