Context
Feature 7, a steeply sloped, basin-shaped thermal feature. Sample was on charcoal stained sediment. Meas. 65 x 48 cm in dia., 18 cm deep. Fill had pockets of charcoal stained sediments in sandy loam. Eleven small pieces of FCR present. Artifacts: 2 pieces of debitage, 59 bone frags. some burned, and 1 piece of unidentified plant tissue. Interpreted as an informal roasting pit.
