- Feature 63, encountered at 320 cm bd. Meas 52 x 38 cm in dia., 33 cm deep. Fill was dark gray/black loamy sand. No oxidation or FCR. One piece of chert debitage and 46 bone frags. recovered. Latter included jackrabbit. Interpreted as a faunal processing feature. This feature is in the comparable level where Metcalf found bone processing pits, and which Metcalf assigned to its Lower Cultural Horizon. Assigned to Alpine's Component 3.
