Context
Feature 58, FCR concentration with charcoal staining encountered at 282 cm bd. At same depth as Feature 56 and in close proximity. Feature 58 rested on top of an area of dark charcoal staining that meas. 78 x 68 cm. Stain contained large quantities of charcoal (sample is from the top of this stain). Concentration 58 contained 17 pieces of FCR. The stain became more patterened with depth, resulting in the designation of Features 59 and 60. No artifacts or faunal remains. Interpreted possibly as thr remains of the partial deflation of the underlying Feature 59 or as a cleaning episode whereby the contents of Feature 59 were removed. Dates from Feature 59 and 60 overlap.
