Context
Charcoal from Feature 5 hearth. Meas. 64 cm in dia., very shallow (5 cm deep) in an area that had previously been identified as having an artifact concentration. Interpreted as being used to cook ungulates. Four protohistoric sherds, a scraper also from the fill. Sherds from the same vessel were found shallowly buried within a few sq m surrounding the hearth.
