Context
from Feature 3.01 hearth fill, Feature 3 pit structure. Oldest date from the site and clearly represents old wood. Hearth in center of structure; meas. 52 cm in dia., 20 cm deep. Some oxidation around the edge. Fill was a mix of ash and post occupational deposits. Juniper and pine charcoal; pollen from goosefoot, prickly pear cactus, Zea mays, and sunflower.
