- EdMq-1, Moose Bay Burial Mound: Wood from a central roof support of the burial mound structure provided a radiocarbon date (S-453). A Plains side-notched and two Prairie side-notched points were found in the central chamber. Syms (1979) includes a burial intrusive into this mound in the Devils Lake/Sourisford burial complex, but S-453 pre-dates the intrusion. Hanna (1976: 22), Walker (1983b: 113), and Dyck (1983: Table 10.4) list this date as S-543.
