Comments
FlEj-2, Lac Caniapiscau 9: D. Denton notes that the principal occupation of this site is almost certainly prehistoric. A late historic date seems unlikely given the total absence of European or Euro-Canadian artifacts and the poor preservation of the hearth and associated faunal remains. The dated charcoal may thus represent a recent forest fire event.
