- BkGg-14, Morrison's Island 3: The site yielded a trace of contact period material within the first 15 cm and a minor amount of Middle Woodland pottery immediately below to depths of about 20 cm. A deeper Archaic occupation extends to about 38 cm depth. The Archaic materials include four practically complete sandstone plummets, an Adena-like projectile point, a side-notched projectile point, a pitted stone, and numerous whetstones. There was no pottery or other Woodland material in the hearth dated by S-899. Within the charcoal was the tip of a broken ground slate point which was largely reassembled from scattered pieces.
