- DcHw-no #, "Timmins" canoe: Although listed as the Timmins canoe, from the Lake Missinaibi area "near Timmins," the lake itself is well to the west of the town. The Borden block assigned to this record is based on the coordinates for Lake Missinaibi in the Gazetteer of Ontario place names, but the provenience of the canoe is not well documented. The sample was submitted along with other dugout canoe samples to determine periods of design and use.
