- Comments
- BlGj-3, Montgomery M2: This site contains a Middle Woodland component and an Iroquois component. GaK-1892 was directly associated with an ochre-stained cremation burial, whereas GaK-1891 was beneath this feature. The only recovered artifact that appears to be Archaic is a single projectile point of the Otter Creek variety, but the cultural affiliation of GaK-1891 is not clear. Smith (1997) lists it as a Point Peninsula date. Mitchell reports this site as BlGj-2.
