Comments
BfGa-11, Wyght: This is a multicomponent site, only 15 cm deep, without visible stratigraphy. Feature 6, dated by S-1678, had more recent appearance than other hearths at the site. S-1841 and S-1842 suggest the possibility of Archaic or late Paleoindian occupation in area. S-1845 suggests the possible use of coal or bitumen as fire fuel or hafting cement. S-1850, 1851, and 1852 are from Component C, situated on a 3 m terrace, separated from the main component on the lower terrace near water's edge.
