- BfFt-2, Steward: Following 1972 excavations by J.V. Wright and J.F. Pendergast, a 1979 salvage exvacation by P.J. Wright sampled a midden from which six radiocarbon samples were submitted. A seventh sample from beneath the midden was also measured. The samples from the midden were associated with St. Lawrence Iroquois pottery, yielding ages ranging over a period of six centuries. Pendergast (1993: 10 ff) discusses the implications of these dates.
