- Comments
- AlGo-29, Auda: This village of 10 houses covers 0.25 ha and has no palisade. Kapches accepts the older limit of S-1948, and Fox accepts the younger limit. Cooper and Savage (1994: 3) report that only 3% of 682 faunal elements were identifiable below class. Most were small fragments from cultural feature flotation, and most were thermally altered. Growth rings on a Salmo sp. vertebra indicate capture in early spring or summer, but those of a yellow perch cleithrum suggest a summer to early autumn occupation. The identified mammals raise the possibility of year-round occupancy.
