- NiPm-5 (99-DCA-205): This Palaeoeskimo site is on raised beaches between 9.5 m and 16.5 m elevation and probably represents two or more Palaeoeskimo occupations. Only the lower level of this site was sampled. Charcoal, burnt bone, and unburnt bone were collected from a hearth in a large midpassage feature at 9.5-9.75 m elevation. Also included in this sample from the same feature are a cut piece of bone from the surface (either whale bone or a caribou antler stub).
