- Comments
- NhPl-7 (99-DCA-158): Probable Palaeoeskimo dwelling features at this site occur on several raised beaches between 12.5 and 13.5 m elevation. Charcoal samples 158a and 158b were collected from the lower level, four slight beach ridges below the highest probable Palaeoeskimo features. The upper level has three dwelling features spread over about 50 m. The lower level has 25 features over 150 m. One burin was noted in a feature on the upper level. Two quartzite debris scatters occur in the lower level, and chert flakes are common throughout the site.
