- Comments
- ObPf-3 (00-DCA-072): A disintegrated, scattered komatik occurs beside boulder meat caches on a raised beach. The komatik runners and cross-slats are made of driftwood. This wood is considerably more weathered than the other komatik samples collected from the region. Runner 1 is 145 cm long, 15 cm widest, with 4 lashing holes remaining. Runner 2 is 138 cm long, 10 cm maximum remaining width, with 8 remaining lashing holes. Cross-slats: 61.0 x 9.2 cm; 61.0 x 4.5 cm; 61.0 x 4.5 cm; 53.5 x 5.0 cm (incomplete); and 56.0 x 7.5 cm. A piece of runner 2 was collected for dating.
