- Comments
- RgJw-VP: A periotic bone (ball-shaped part only) was collected from one side of a bowhead skull 90% buried upright in fine beach gravel. Whale bone is very rare on the raised beaches in this region, and this site is unusual in that vertebrae occur on another beach 2 metres higher and a single rib occurs several hundred metres upslope at 25 m altitude.
