- Comments
- EcPl-1, Old Women's buffalo jump: This is a deeply stratified buffalo jump containing components of the Old Women's, Besant, and Pelican Lake phases. All of the dates are stratigraphically concordant, and those from Layer 13 approximate the time when the small projectile point tradition appeared at this site. It is important to note that the three samples of bone were prepared with highly suspect pre-treatment methods.
