- RbJr-VP: Both otic capsules and one periotic bone were collected from a bowhead skull 50% buried in beach gravel and clay, capped by peat. The weathered skull is 136 cm wide. The age agrees closely with the age of driftwood (GSC-5787; 3740 +/- 60 BP) collected from a nearby raised beach at 17.5 m altitude.
