- Comments
- QjHr-VP: A fractured otic capsule and a fractured periotic bone were collected from a bowhead skull 95% buried in medium beach gravel, the skull too fragmented to measure. This sample is about 50 m west of 93-DCA-224 and is in the same strandline. It is the better of the two for dating. There are two other skulls without earbones near samples -224 & -225, at the same level. The marine limit at Firkin Point is recorded by a delta perched on the distal side of the oldest of three end moraines at 80 m altitude.
