- Comments
- PgHb-1, Nunguvik: The site was occupied throughout most of the Dorset and Thule periods, with more than 80 houses. Radiocarbon dates have been obtained on the following houses: House 42, an early Thule house built on an earlier Dorset site; House 46, an early Dorset house; House 52, a Thule house; House 71, a rectangular Dorset house; House 72, a late Dorset house; House 73, an extensive house complex with several stone structures of uncertain pourpose; and House 76, a middle Dorset house. Wilmeth (1978: 22-25) provides extensive commentary that was written prior to the realization that radiocarbon dates must be normalized to a single 13C ratio.
