- Comments
- PaHc-1, Tununeq: This is a Thule site with seven completely overgrown houses, obviously not reoccupied in modern times. There are also old-looking tent rings and a few graves. Most of the artifacts look like early Thule, but the presence of drilled lashing holes in a Thule type II harpoon head suggests a more recent occupation than Nunguvik (PgHb-1) houses 42 and 52. The measured age of S-674 is much too old for a middle Thule house, but it is satisfactory if calibrated with a marine model.
