- OlJf-VP: Two complete sets of earbones, with otic capsules still fused to the periotic bones, were collected in situ from a bowhead cranium 90% buried in beach gravel. The cranium is 128 cm across. Excess sample of the dated earbone was transferred to the Canadian Museum of Nature. The complete earbone from the other side was donated to the New Brunswick Museum at request of Randy Miller for their Quaternary sea mammal exhibit.
