- OkHs-VP: Periotic bones were collected in situ from both sides of a bowhead whale cranium enclosed in peat resting on beach gravel. The cranium is 200 cm wide. Jim Savelle measured this(?) skull at 172.2 cm wide; he noted that it was embedded, ventral side up.
