- OkHs-VP: The ball-shaped part of a periotic bone collected in situ from one side of a bowhead whale cranium enclosed in peat on the gravel of a stream bed eroded through raised beaches. Other bones are on the beach at same level. Jim Savelle in 1992 noted that this skull was ventral side up.
