- DlOn-3, Larson: Three cultural levels are recognized. Level 1, immediately beneath the turf, seemed to be an ephemeral occupation during the 1980s excavations, but richer deposits were found in 1999. Level 1 contains two stone-filled cooking pits, obsidian projectile points belonging to the Old Women's phase, and a few bits of pottery. Level 2 consists of a series of closely spaced occupations representative of the Avonlea phase. Level 3 is a secondary deposit of disarticulated bison bone that was neither extensively excavated nor dated, and it has yielded neither lithic nor ceramic material.
