- KbFk-7, Tyara: Wilmeth (1978: 29) notes that Taylor's original estimates were based on comparison with the material from Collins' T1 and T3 sites on Southampton Island. The comparisons suggested that Tyara Level 1 was slight older than the average for T3 and that Tyara Level 2 was close in time to the early part of T1. The estimate for Tyara Level 3 was based on Taylor's belief that this level was earlier than the oldest T1 date. The GSC dates obtained subsequently supported all of these estimates (see Taylor, 1968: 107).
