Comments
KfVd-2, Pelly Farm: The provenience of S-193 is not clear. The data given here - Square S3/W2, level 4, floor 4, 0.7 m depth - follows the description in Rutherford et al. (1975: 333) and Wilmeth (1978: 8). Floor 4 is said to be a pure component of the Champagne phase. However, MacNeish (1964: 308-310) described this sample as being from Sq. S13/W2, Floor 3, assigned to the Little Arm phase, but commented (Wilmeth, 1978: 8) that the date is more appropriate for the Taye Lake phase. S-193 and GSC-127 are out of sequence with respect to their stratigraphic relationships, but the two dates overlap at one-sigma.
