- JgVf-2, Otter Falls: Wilmeth (1978: 8) reports Workman's comment: the date is surprisingly recent for a widespread distinctive microcore technology thought by many to be perhaps twice as old. However, at the Healy Lake site, Alaska, similar material has yielded dates within the Christian era. Workman is therefore inclined to accept the Otter Falls date, which presumably applies to a relatively late manifestation of the microblade and core technology in the southwest Yukon.
