- Comments
- EaLf-1, Lockport: This site is unusually important for several reasons. It contains one of the few deeply stratified sequences in Manitoba. It has produced evidence of the northernmost aboriginal corn horticulture in Canada. It is well dated by a series of 16 radiocarbon measurements that aid the reconstruction of fluvial sedimentology and palaeoecology in the Red River valley. The exact provenience and cultural affiliation of four AMS dates from the RIDDL lab have not yet been reported.
