- EeRc-44 is a large site consisting of a large housepit depression and over thirty-three related depressions, many of which appear to be roasting pits and storage pits. Over 6,000 artifacts were recovered from excavations. Some of which were corner notched projectile points characteristic of the Thompson Phase. Ground slate, deer bone and lots of freshwater shell-fish were also collected.
